Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought to support a K-12 school setting in Columbia, Maryland. This contract position spans the current school year and offers a meaningful opportunity to impact student communication development in an elementary setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting individualized speech and language assessments for students grades K-12
  • Developing and implementing targeted therapy plans based on student needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and educational specialists to support student progress
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive learning environment

Desired qualifications:

  • Maryland state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credential
  • Experience working primarily with elementary-aged students, especially in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common in school-aged children
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a case load efficiently while providing high-quality therapy

This full-time role requires 37.5 hours per week during the contracted school year, providing consistent engagement with students and staff.
