Job Description

Deliver speech-language pathology services within a vibrant school district in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting students across multiple K-12 schools during the 2025-26 academic year. This travel position offers the opportunity to work in diverse educational settings, with a caseload model emphasizing individualized student support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver both direct and indirect therapy services.
  • Manage a caseload comprising students from kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple school locations.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations regarding speech-language pathology practice.
  • Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of pediatric and school-based populations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Colorado SLP license and Teaching Certification through the Colorado Department of Education.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare, school settings, and familiarity with caseload management.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
  • Ability to travel between multiple schools and provide in-home visits as required.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to student-centered care.

Location and Work Schedule:

  • Colorado Springs, CO area.
  • Full-time positions available (37.5 hours/week) with an emphasis on elementary caseloads.
  • Part-time opportunities focused on in-home services.
  • Travel between multiple schools as part of the itinerant assignment.
