Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Texas SLP licensure or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcome
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
  • Ability to adapt to individualized student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication challenges
  • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans based on IEPs and ongoing assessment
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student progress
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment that motivates students and empowers growth
