Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Texas SLP licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
- Ability to adapt to individualized student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication challenges
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans based on IEPs and ongoing assessment
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student progress
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that motivates students and empowers growth
