Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as an onsite Speech Language Pathologist working with an elementary and pre-K caseload of approximately 55 students. In this contract position, youll collaborate with educators and families to help children develop essential communication skills in a supportive school setting. Your expertise with pediatric speech-language needs will be highly valued as you provide individualized services that set young learners up for long-term success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current California SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work onsite with pre-K and elementary-age students
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integrated support services
- Maintain accurate records and document progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings for comprehensive student care
- Provide guidance and resources to educators to support classroom communication strategies
