Step into an engaging opportunity to support students' success as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a K-12 caseload. This full-time, onsite contract spans from now through the end of the current school year. Youll work with a diverse range of learners, helping them gain confidence and communication skills that last a lifetime.
Qualified candidates demonstrate expertise in providing speech and language services in educational settings. SLP-CCC credentials and a valid Michigan SLP license are essential to ensure high-quality care and compliance with state standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan SLP license
- SLP-CCC required
- Experience serving K-12 students in a school environment
- Ability to assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to meet various student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate records to document student progress and compliance
- Support inclusive practices and help foster a positive school climate
