Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience delivering speech services in a school setting, especially with K5 students
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to travel between two sites as needed
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students on your assigned caseload
  • Conduct evaluations and screen referrals to determine eligibility for speech-language services
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document progress and maintain thorough session notes in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support the whole child
  • Participate in IEP meetings and share insights to enhance student outcomes
  • Adapt therapy methods to fit each students unique strengths and needs
