This full-time contract role offers you the chance to support K-12 students and collaborate with a dedicated educational community. Youll leverage your expertise to assess and treat speech-language needs, helping students achieve greater success in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Active CA Speech Language Pathologist License required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) highly preferred
- Previous experience working with K-12 caseloads in a school setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite and effectively partner with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct speech-language therapy to students
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design supports that meet each students unique needs
- Consult with teachers and parents, offering strategies and resources for classroom and home environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and help drive positive outcomes for every student on your caseload
