Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated school Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant educational setting near Clinton Township, MI. Two full-time positions are available for the 2026-2027 academic year, with possible extension into the 2025-2026 Extended School Year. Youll primarily work with elementary and middle school populations, but should be comfortable delivering services across PreK-12th grades. This role empowers you to manage your own caseload and flex your clinical skills independently within a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan SLP license (please provide a screenshot of current license)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a broad range of student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for speech, articulation, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
