Required Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
- Current South Carolina Teaching Certification
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with AAC devices is highly desirable
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Commitment to fostering student growth and supporting a positive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver targeted speech/language therapy services
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Document student progress and maintain accurate, thorough records according to school policies
- Consult with team members regarding best practices and effective intervention strategies
- Participate actively in IEP and staff meetings as needed
