Step into a rewarding position supporting PreK and kindergarten students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Clinton, IL. This contract opportunity calls for an enthusiastic professional ready to positively impact young learners during the 26/27 school year. Youll manage a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, providing direct therapy, collaboration with teachers, and involvement in IEP development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current IL Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Passion for working with early childhood populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 35 hours per week, across 5 weekdays, onsite in the school environment
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy and interventions to PreK and kindergarten students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Partner with educators and families to foster communication and language growth
- Support student progress toward educational and social goals
