Qualifications:

• Current New York State Speech-Language Pathology License (NY SLP License)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility
• Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities certification (TSSLD)
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, though not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Evaluate students using standardized assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of therapy, student progress, and interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to guide service plans
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
