Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available, offering a dynamic role working with children ages 3-5 in educational settings. Key qualifications and requirements:

  • Valid New York State SLP certification
  • Experience with pediatric populations, specifically ages 3-5
  • Proficiency in school-based speech-language pathology services
  • Ability to work full-time, five days per week
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare and educational speech therapy practices

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions for preschool-aged children
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student communication development
  • Maintaining thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in pediatric SLP
