A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available, offering a dynamic role working with children ages 3-5 in educational settings. This travel position is based in Clifton Park, NY, providing a chance to apply your skills in pediatrics and schools while enjoying a flexible and rewarding professional experience.
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Valid New York State SLP certification
- Experience with pediatric populations, specifically ages 3-5
- Proficiency in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Ability to work full-time, five days per week
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare and educational speech therapy practices
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions for preschool-aged children
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student communication development
- Maintaining thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participating in ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in pediatric SLP
