Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to serve a diverse student population, ranging from elementary through high school
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, staff, and families
  • Competence in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to varied educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders across multiple grade levels
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy in both individual and group formats, tailoring interventions to each students needs
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to promote generalization of skills and support overall student success
  • Participate in professional development and relevant school meetings
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment where every students voice is valued
