Qualified candidates must hold both a valid Georgia SLP License and a GA Educator Certificate, ensuring youre equipped to deliver outstanding therapy services and collaborate closely with students, teachers, and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active GA SLP License and GA Educator Certificate (REQUIRED)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Compassion for students and a passion for fostering growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-5 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of communication disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Consult and communicate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse individual student needs
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education requirements
