Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC preferred)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Ability to perform comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Proficient in writing IEPs and maintaining detailed progress records
- Passion for nurturing student confidence and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, fluency, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other support staff
- Provide consultation and resources to parents and caregivers regarding therapeutic interventions
- Track student progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment that encourages each students growth and achievement
