What Were Looking For:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFY considered
• Previous experience with school-aged children is highly valued
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• A passion for fostering student growth in a diverse school community

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete speech and language evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students per IEP or 504 requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate records, treatment notes, and compliance documentation
• Provide strategies and resources for classroom staff to encourage generalization of communication skills
