Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Strong interest in working in a school-based setting; prior schools experience is highly valued but not mandatory
- Completion or enthusiasm to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is welcomed
- Background in pediatrics, healthcare, teletherapy, or similar fields will be considered favorably
- A genuine passion for supporting K-12 students and contributing to their success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and individualized therapy plans
- Utilize teletherapy skills, if applicable, to reach students in both in-person and virtual settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district standards
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders and take part in professional development opportunities
