Key Qualifications:
- Current, active NJ Speech-Language Pathology licensure required
- Previous experience within a school setting is highly preferred
- Comfortable working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess students speech, language, and communication needs using appropriate tools and methods
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students goals
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, adjusting techniques as needed
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation, prepare progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Assist with prevention and intervention services to enhance communication in classroom settings
