Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment near Clearwater and the Tampa, FL area. This full-time, contract position provides the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric caseload and collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, either onsite or through flexible teletherapy options.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license required
- Pediatric experience preferred, but motivated new graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a plus
- Experience or interest in delivering therapy services in school-based and/or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is beneficial
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student progress
- Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and professional development as required
- Support students in both in-person and remote learning settings, adapting therapy to best suit each childs needs
