As a remote SLP serving the educational community, you'll work with a diverse group of children, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their academic and social goals. Your work will involve close collaboration with educators and parents, all via secure teletherapy platforms, ensuring that distance is no barrier to delivering high-quality care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery models
- Comfortable providing therapy and participating in meetings virtually
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy via telepractice
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for K12 students
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and student support teams
- Complete evaluations and maintain timely, accurate records
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Offer creative, engaging, and evidence-based interventions
