Job Description

Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where your expertise can make a lasting impact on students communication skills. Contract positions are available for the upcoming academic year, with full-time schedules and on-site responsibilities beginning August 24, 2026, and concluding June 9, 2027.

The district is seeking up to three dedicated SLPs, including Clinical Fellows (CFYs)supervision will be provided. Interviews are set for mid-May, but candidates can be reviewed now for early scheduling. Bring your passion and knowledge to a collaborative educational setting.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state professional licensure and valid educator certificate (or eligibility prior to start)
  • Prior experience in school settings is highly valued but not required
  • Recent graduates (CFYs) encouraged to applysupport and supervision are provided
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students (caseload details and age groups assigned upon placement)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes
  • Track progress, maintain thorough records, and prepare reports in compliance with school and district requirements
  • Participate actively in district meetings and professional development as required
