Job Description

This part-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based in the Corydon, IN area, serving the South Harrison location. The role supports a K-12 caseload with approximately 25 low-functioning students, providing direct therapy and comprehensive evaluation services.

Responsibilities include delivering tailored speech and language therapy, conducting assessments and testing, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating closely with staff and parents to support student progress. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and documentation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana SLP license and Department of Education certification
  • Experience with K-12 caseloads, specifically serving students with low-functioning speech and language needs
  • Competency in administering speech and language tests and interpreting results
  • Skilled in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Ability to actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Position Details:

  • Contract position lasting through the current school year with potential extension through June 2026
  • Approximately 15-20 hours per week, part-time schedule
  • Based in Corydon, IN, serving the South Harrison K-12 student population
