Exciting opportunities await speech-language pathologists who are passionate about empowering students to find their voice and succeed in every aspect of their education. A full-time contract position is now open, serving a diverse K-12 caseload and offering the chance to make a significant impact across multiple grade levels. This assignment is available for immediate start and runs through January, providing a rewarding environment for both seasoned SLPs and recent graduates.
Candidates should be equipped to deliver high-quality speech and language services and collaborate closely with students, families, and educational teams. This role welcomes professionals with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), as well as Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (SLP-CFY), provided they hold the appropriate Pennsylvania SLP license and Department of Education credentials.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license and Department of Education approval
- Experience with school-aged populations, from kindergarten through 12th grade, preferred
- SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and collaborative problem-solving
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with a wide range of communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy sessions and consultation in a school-based setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student growth
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
