Qualifications & Experience

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Active or eligible Alaska state licensure
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desired
  • Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to a diverse caseload of students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student access to services
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document progress towards communication goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to overall educational planning
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
