Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • CCC-SLP certification required.
  • Previous experience working within a school setting, especially with K12 caseloads, strongly preferred.
  • Solid communication and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for those requiring speech services.
  • Provide direct intervention, both in groups and individually, tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Support the school in complying with all relevant federal and state regulations.
