Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 26/27 school year as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, making a meaningful difference for students from kindergarten through 9th grade. This role offers a supportive, collaborative work environment where you will work closely with a case manager and serve students primarily in grades 6 and below.

Youll be at the heart of a diverse learning community, providing both direct therapy and consultative support to a manageable caseload: 14 students with IEPs and 9 additional students requiring consultation. Your expertise will be essential in guiding students through mild to moderate communication challenges while helping families access bilingual resources in both English and Spanish.

What were seeking:

  • Valid IL Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanishessential for this position
  • Certification as SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
  • Experience in pediatric, healthcare, and school settings highly valued
  • Familiarity with IEP development and Embrace software preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Your key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging SLP services to students K-9th grade, focusing on those in sixth grade and younger
  • Manage a mild-moderate caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
  • Use Embrace IEP software to update goals and track progress
  • Share office space with the case manager to foster teamwork and support
