This full-time opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist is based onsite near South Holland, IL, serving a K-12 student caseload. The role offers a dynamic environment to utilize your skills in delivering speech and language support to children across various developmental stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Knowledge of teletherapy is a plus, although this position is onsite
