Your role will focus on assessing, diagnosing, and implementing treatment plans tailored to each student. Youll create a supportive, engaging environment, working closely with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-age children, including IEP development and goal setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings for students referred for speech and language services
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans to address a variety of communication disorders
- Document intervention progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for students
- Work directly with teachers and families to support student success in both academic and social settings
- Advocate for students needs and provide training or resources as necessary
