Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners communication and academic progress at a vibrant elementary campus. A dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) is needed for an on-site assignment for the 2026-2027 school year, working exclusively at a welcoming elementary setting serving PreK through 5th graders.

This position entails a student-centered caseload of 51 students from early learners to fifth grade, offering the chance to make a tangible impact on speech and language development. Both bilingual and monolingual SLPs are encouraged to apply, and seasoned Clinical Fellows seeking district-provided supervision will find a supportive environment. Collaboration with dedicated educators and a commitment to holistic student development are central to this role.

What you bring:

  • Valid Texas SLP license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
  • ASHA CCC preferred (or documentation of clinical hours if required)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language therapy (CFYs considered)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in an educational team setting
  • Solid time management skills and adaptability
  • Proficiency in providing both individual and group interventions
  • Professional references available at the application stage

What youll do:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to K-5th students (no SLPA assigned)
  • Assess, identify, and implement interventions for communication disorders
  • Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and administration to support student success
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all learners
