Make a meaningful impact working with K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic school-based setting near Cibolo, TX. This rewarding contract position runs from August through June 2027 and offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing comprehensive support to students across all grade levels.
Successful candidates bring a passion for helping students reach their communication milestones, a collaborative spirit, and the required Texas SLP or SLPA license. Youll be working onsite, engaging directly with students, teachers, and families in a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (required)
- Experience working in pediatric, school-based, or K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of speech-language assessment and intervention techniques
- CCC credential for SLPs preferred
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct student assessments and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions to student needs
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
