Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant working with K-12 students in a dynamic school-based setting near Cibolo, TX. This onsite role spans from August through June 2027 and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students communication growth and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and seek mentorship as needed
