This contract opportunity is ideal for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP CCC, SLP CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) seeking a part-time role in an elementary school setting. The position involves covering a leave from February 2026 through April 30, 2026, with approximately 20 hours per week. You will work with PreK through 4th grade students at a single school location, delivering speech therapy services to a diverse caseload.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized speech-language services that support student communication development
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to planning for student success
Qualifications and experience:
- Current Texas license as an SLP CCC, SLP CF, or SLPA
- Experience working within pediatric, school, or healthcare settings is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, student-centered therapy
