Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current California licensure and credential as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children and diverse student populations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to shifting priorities

Role Overview:

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and informal measures
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and adapt interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school policies
  • Offer guidance and resources to support staff and families in promoting communication development
