Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, valid licensure or eligibility as an SLP in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, particularly in educational settings
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with school and district policies
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records of services, evaluations, and student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and professional development as required
