Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are sought for contract roles serving pediatric populations in a school setting located in Chualar, CA. These positions entail working full-time, five days a week (37.5 hours), providing services to an average caseload of 45-50 students across multiple school sites. This role offers the opportunity to support childrens communication development and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students aged 3-21.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet students communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with state and district guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and IEP reviews as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with speech and language disorders common in school-aged children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families and school personnel.
  • Current credentials, such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), are preferred.
  • Ability to engage with a caseload of approximately 45-50 students.
