This contract-based opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, full school year position, working onsite with elementary students. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply, as long as youre ready to manage substantial caseloads and embrace the challenges of a dynamic educational setting.
What were looking for:
- ASHA CCCs or CF status (no SLPAs)
- At least 2 years of SLP experience in California schools
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on SEIS experience
- Leadership skillsexperience supervising SLPAs and facilitating teams is a significant advantage
- Confidence managing caseloads of 60-65 students, including speech-only cases
- Bilingual SLPs are strongly encouraged to apply
- Flexible, organized, and committed to onsite work throughout the school year
Core responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, therapy, and direct services to students in all identified areas of need
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and district protocols
- Collaborate closely with educators, SLPAs, facilitators, and families to support student outcomes
- Tackle high volumes of referrals and adapt to ever-changing priorities
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
This full-time role features a 37.5-hour workweek, with support available from SLPAs as needed. Bilingual candidates will receive enhanced pay in recognition of their skills and contributions.
