Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (Ohio SLP license required or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly desired
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide group and individual speech-language therapy services following district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
