As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, youll play a pivotal role in the Compass High Program, helping students in a non-traditional setting develop crucial communication and independence skills. Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and credentials meeting all state requirements
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with high school students
  • Comfortable working with students with ASD or other learning differences
  • Proven ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to high school students in the Compass High Program
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA to ensure fidelity and quality interventions
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to specialized educational environments
  • Maintain compliance with IEPs and all school/state documentation requirements

Work Details:

  • Contract position for the 26/27 school year, with an estimated start date of August 27, 2026, through June 22, 2027
  • 32.5 hours per week based onsite in Ludlow, Massachusetts
