Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team serving students in a K12 setting. The SLP will provide evaluations, therapy services, and support for students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders that impact educational performance.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop the communication skills needed for academic and social success.

This position is approximately 2.53 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades K12
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, and compliance records
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and special education teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and assistive technology when appropriate
  • Promote student engagement, communication confidence, and participation in the school environment

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active state SLP license and/or Department of Education certification
CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
