Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Illinois
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students ages PreK-12 with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Administer assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language deficits and determine eligibility for services
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers for strategies that promote student success
  • Communicate goals and progress to families and participate in relevant meetings as required
