What Youll Bring:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or eligibility
- Pediatric and school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
What Youll Do:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language services to a diverse student caseload
- Evaluate, screen, and diagnose students as part of the IEP process
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educational teams
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide support and training to staff and parents regarding student needs
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging environment for all learners
