Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students at a public charter school near Chicago as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Work with a diverse K-12 caseload in a collaborative setting, helping learners build essential communication skills and reach their academic milestones.
In this role, youll enjoy a part-time schedulework 2.5 to 3 days each weekgiving you the flexibility to maintain work-life balance while advancing your career as a school-based SLP.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (IL SLP)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in schools or with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students in an engaging, equitable environment
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student performance and adjust interventions as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.25 to $64.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
