This contract position offers the chance to support learners across a variety of ages and developmental stages, working with a manageable caseload of 15-21 students. Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Professional Educator's License required
- Demonstrated expertise in pediatric, school-based speech and language therapy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary school staff
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and individualized student support
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to maximize student learning
- Engage with parents and caregivers, offering guidance and progress updates
- Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
