This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with a diverse student population, helping them build strong communication skills essential for their academic and personal growth.
Key qualifications:
- PEL with SLP Endorsement required
- Experience working in professional school environments
- Clinical competence in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
- Teletherapy experience a plus
- Comfort working with Kindergarten through 12th grade students
- Eligible for or hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
Position highlights:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and individualized therapy for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with school/regulatory guidelines
- Offer support and guidance to students with diverse communication needs
- Utilize teletherapy skills as needed within the school setting
