Join a dynamic K-12 school environment in Chicago, IL, as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the current school year. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language support to students, focusing on diagnostics and managing a small early childhood caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language diagnostics
- Serve a caseload of 9-10 early childhood students requiring specialized support
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure effective outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Illinois Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff, and families effectively
