A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Chicago, IL, offering the option of full-time or part-time hours with a 37.5-hour workweek. This contract position is based onsite at a school setting and is ideal for professionals specializing in pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage caseloads including various grade levels; specific caseload and number of schools served will be determined.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services onsite to students, supporting their communication development.
- Collaborate with educational staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and support student progress.
- Utilize expertise in school-based speech-language pathology practices and teletherapy when applicable.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement for the state.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience or training in school-based speech-language pathology, including pediatric caseloads and teletherapy.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite school environment and maintain compliance with district or state-specific requirements.
