Job Description

A full-time Speech Therapist is needed to provide specialized speech-language services within a K-12 school setting in Chicago, IL. This contract position for the current school year offers an opportunity to work closely with students in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience or interest in pediatric speech therapy within schools
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or qualified for licensed practice
  • Knowledge of speech-language pathology best practices and pediatric intervention strategies
