Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Calumet City, IL, serving students from Early Childhood through 8th grade. This full-time contract position offers a consistent schedule of approximately 33.75 hours per week, running ASAP through June 3, 2026. The role is strictly on-site, with no remote or voice-over contract options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students across Early Childhood to 8th grade.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
  • Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably with Early Childhood to middle school populations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families.
  • Commitment to on-site work with no virtual options.
