Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working onsite in a dynamic educational environment near Chester, PA. Three full-time positions are available supporting students at the elementary, middle (grades 6-8), and high school levels. Specialists in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and Physical Therapy (PT) are encouraged to apply, contributing valuable expertise to help students thrive in their academic journeys.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Physical Therapy required
- Previous experience within school settings, particularly urban districts
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania clearance processes
- Reliable transportation is essential
- Must be comfortable working in urban school environments and adapting to dynamic student needs
- Ability to work onsite only, with coverage needed between 7:15AM and 4:00PM (non-negotiable schedule)
- Willing to commit full-time (35 hours per week) for the duration of the assignment (ASAP start through June 10, 2027)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and district personnel
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic services to students within assigned caseloads (elementary, middle grades, or high school)
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and collaborative planning
- Conduct assessments, implement interventions, and support student goals in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with families and interdisciplinary teams
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture, supporting student engagement and achievement
District preference is for candidates excited to work 100% onsite. No remote or hybrid options are available, as virtual candidates are already in place. Zoom interviews will be conducted for selected applicants.
