Job Description

As caseload specifics may vary depending on district assignment, your adaptability and student-centered mindset will be essential in providing tailored therapy and fostering student growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current South Carolina SLP license and valid Educator Certificate
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work onsite throughout the assignment

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student evaluations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as needed
