Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents? Seeking a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist to serve K-12 students on a contract basis for the school year. This role focuses on supporting students communication needs to foster academic and social success in an engaging educational environment near Portsmouth, VA.

What youll bring:

• Active Virginia SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
• Experience with pediatric and school-based SLP services preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, teachers, and families
• Commitment to evidence-based assessment and intervention practices

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-12 students, tailoring support to meet IEP goals
• Assess and document students speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop treatment plans targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and augmentative/alternative communication as appropriate
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
• Maintain professional documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Offer supervision and mentorship to SLP-CFYs, if qualified
