Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologists with current CCC certification and MA SLP license are sought for a contract-to-hire position serving elementary students in Chelmsford, MA. This role offers an opportunity to work full-time within a supportive school environment during the 2023-2024 school year, focusing on K-4 students with diverse communication disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment and therapy services to elementary-aged students (K-4) presenting a variety of speech and language impairments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with DESE and district standards.
  • Adapt therapy techniques and materials to meet student needs in a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
  • Valid DESE certification.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required (no CF candidates).
  • Recent experience providing school-based SLP services, ideally with an elementary caseload.
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours per week during the school year.
